Your most valuable local asset is free, and probably half-empty

A properly built profile outperforms most websites for local intent. Most businesses claim theirs, fill in three fields, and never open it again.

S/03 · Get found

Your Google Business Profile is what someone sees when they search your name, your trade, or anything near you. It is the map pin, the review score, the photos, the hours, the call button. For a lot of local searches it is the entire interaction — the customer never reaches your website at all.

Which means an incomplete profile is not a small oversight. Wrong categories, missing service areas, four photos from 2019 and no recent posts is a business that looks either closed or careless, sitting directly beside a competitor who looks neither.

We build it out properly, keep it fed, and put a system behind reviews so they arrive steadily instead of in the bursts that trigger filtering. Then we watch the ranking for the searches that actually matter to you.

Google Business Profile · FAQ
We work out of a van, not a shop. Can we still rank?

Yes. Google supports service-area businesses — you hide the address and define the areas you cover. Done correctly this ranks well. Done incorrectly, with a fake or virtual address, it is the most common cause of suspension, and appeals take weeks.

Can you get bad reviews removed?

Only if they breach Google policy — spam, a competitor, someone who was never a customer. Those we flag and pursue. A genuine unhappy customer cannot be deleted, and trying is worse than answering well. A calm, specific reply to a bad review sells more than the review costs you.

How often does the profile need attention?

Weekly is where the returns are. Posts, photos, replies and Q&A are all freshness and engagement signals. A profile touched once a quarter drifts behind one that gets ten minutes a week.
